        Hello all:

New member Tony Phipps here. Beth and I just completed the move of our new to us Pacific Seacraft 32 Pilothouse from Friday Harbor down to Olympia. She will be hauled to Portland soon. We made the journey without any major issues. We have found that the tranmission will need some work as the forward clutch is not engaging at low RPM and the exhaust mixing elbow will need replacing. I am looking for a good supplier of Yanmar parts and a recommendation on a mechanic in the area if I need one. I did come across HDI Marine out of Vancouver, WA and they may be able to supply a portion of the exhaust. I will need to redesign to some degree as the muffler is rubbing on the transmission due to some modification by prior owner.

Also just trying out this new forum.

        Regards,
        Tony Phipps

Cooks Marine engines on Hayden Island is where we get marine specific parts.

A little update from Beny. I removed the exhaust bend and mixing elbow, these were welded together. New 316 stainless pieces have been procured and just require assembly and installation. The threaded coupler between these will raise the overall height and I will likely need to raise my center aisle sole panels. We are making some progress and hoping I can get these threaded together extremely tight to minimize the floor adjustment.
