Val and I had the pleasure of spending two nights moored with Sea Scout vessel Tidal Wave and her 12 person crew. First night at Schwitters’ and the next at Beacon Rock. Boisterous at times but incredibly polite, considerate and truly wanting to absorb boating. Late in the evening we sat around and demonstrated our favorite methods of knot tying. We need these boys to come a teach a clinic to our membership! We need help!! Walking the docks at RCYC shows 60% of our members can’t tie a proper cleat hitch! Anyone up for a refresher on the top 7 knots you need to know?? Let me know!

This is an awesome idea. Who is our current education chair? Perhaps we can get them to set it up.
