        The fall RCYC Land Yacht cruise is coming. We will be spending the weekend at Nehalem Bay State Park on the coast the weekend of October 13th thru the 15th. Set between the ocean and the bay, Nehalem Bay State Park is situated on a 4-mile sand spit.

        The campground sits among shore pines, just a sand dune away from the beach. The park has beach access to the Pacific and to Nehalem Bay.

        A forested 1.8 mile long bike path provides a breathtaking view of the bay. You may see deer and elk grazing and a variety of birds. Kayaking, crabbing, fishing and clamming are popular activities. Kayak tours and horseback rides are available close by.

        All are welcome to attend. Make your reservations before they are gone. We are on loop E.

          I am planning on bringing my dinghy and motor to do some crabbing in the bay.

            Already have 5 memberships with reservations that have let me know they were coming. Two more memberships have let me know they will be coming. I know the Reserve America website was having some difficulties but should have them fixed soon. See the attached map for current locations.

              Hi CJ & Roxanna,
              I just reserved spots at Nehalem Bay State Park for the October land cruise. Not sure if it is any where close to you, but we are on E Loop.

                E loop is perfect. The post before yours has the campground map attached that shows where members are at.

                  So far it looks like 8 – 9 members will be attending. However, not everyone has sent me their site number so I am not sure. Those who have are in Loops E & D along the west side.
