Lightly used Lehr 2.5 HP Propane Outboard Motor. This motor probably has less than ten hours on it since new. Used on an eight foot Walker Bay as a sailboat tender, but now row most of the time and can’t really justify carrying it on the rail for those few times when it is useful. Motor is in very good condition but there are a few spots of corrosion. Motor was always flushed with fresh water after the couple of times it was used in salt water.
Full disclosure – Lehr is no longer making/selling outboards but most all parts are available online (e.g. Ebay).
Included in the sale is an extra propeller, tool kit, spare parts including water pump impeller, spark plug, rope starter and other parts. Partial quarts of lower unit oil and 4 stroke oil. Includes the Operator’s manual and the Service Manual. Also includes the hose to hook up the outboard to a bulk propane tank which is much more economical than the small canisters.
