Potluck has been moved to the upper shelter by the yurts. It has a restroom, it’s cleaner, and there’s less wind. Same time.

Nice.

Cruise potlucks are “bring a dish to share.” Letting others know on this forum what you are bringing (main dish, salad or dessert) is recommended. I would hate to have all salads or all desserts and no main dishes.
We will be bringing an Apple pie.

Saturday’s potluck will be held in the pagoda shelter located in the big open area. See the attached map for the marked location.

More than 12 would have to reserve/rent the place. That being said, We now have 2 reservations, one for 12 and one for 6. If you would like to be included in a reservation, drop me an email and I will put you on the list and make the reservation.

Here is the plan for next weekend.
Friday we will meet @ 5PM at River Mile 38 pub (Salt & Tomato Restaurant) in Cathlamet for all who would like to join us. Make your reservation ahead of time. They now serve food. Click the link for more info.
Saturday’s potluck will start with hors d’oeuvres at 5 PM and dinner at 6 PM.
We have 13 memberships that I know of attending the campout. There are 2 others I know of that will be coming to the potluck/RM 38 gatherings.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I am leaning toward keeping the potluck on Saturday like all other cruises. This will keep confusion to a minimum (I hope). I will be calling the campground next week to see about reserving a shelter for the PL. I will also be calling RM38 before the weekend to let them know our intentions.
All other ideas are welcome.

I just watched another sailing documentary tonight called The Sailor (Prime). It’s about the life of Paul Johnson. I enjoyed it.

Jim, that would not be my list. I’m surprised All is lost is even on the list, much less above Captain Ron. My guess is it’s mostly non sailers pushing the numbers up. What about Wind, an awesome movie. In my opinion, one of the best sailing movies ever made by Hollywood. It actually has to do with sailing and the cinematography is awesome.
That being said, we have a section in this forum for photos and our own personal sailing movies. Check it out and post if you have some.
Thanks for posting this list. There are a few on there I haven’t seen and will be looking for them.
Here are a few documentaries that I enjoyed.
Red Dot on the Ocean: The Matt Rutherford Story (Free on YouTube)
Go Fast Go North (Prime)
Losing Sight of Shore (Prime)
Let the Boat Sail (Prime)CJ
Rick, if there is any left I will take a gallon.
